I was reading James Brown, founder of Loaded's, memoir and it made me remember just how central magazines were to culture and design back in the day - it's a great read if you feel like a bit of 90s nostalgia!
I went for the physical sub too. As much as I love reading longer posts on substack etc there’s something different about reading physical media. More intentional maybe? I can sometimes get the joy from the Sunday newspapers but it’s there’s a lot of filler/adverts.
